"All the service was really good. I couldn't take snail with rabbit but it was nice! Especially tomato sauce is special. It has spicy taste like arrabbiata. Steak is really tendon even it was better than the asador house. And the host is really kind haha the one guy gave us free shots. It was taste like Turkish alcohol. So good!"

"This restaurant serves delicious regional specialties in a welcoming setting. Make sure you try calçots and artichokes when they're in season. From the moment we walked in (no reservation) we were welcomed with generous hospitality by friendly staff who were patient with my basic Spanish. We had a wonderful evening!"

"I had an incredible time at Can Cargolet, my second visit to this charming Catalonian spot. The Lamb Ribs stole the show – juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection, they were a true delight. The side of savory potatoes perfectly complemented the dish. And let's not forget the Alioli dip – creamy, garlicky goodness that added an extra kick. The ambiance was authentic and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. This restaurant has consistently impressed me with their top-notch dishes. If you're a fan of Catalonian cuisine, I can't recommend this place enough. Looking forward to my next visit and more mouthwatering experiences."

"When you walk into this restaurant, think neighborhood, not pretentious. And the food you should expect, homey not gourmet. 4 days in Barcelona so far and this was the best dinner we’ve had. We had read that portions were huge, and that certainly didn’t disappoint. However, a little too much for us so we asked for a half portion of the Riojana snails, which was easily accommodated. We also ordered the lamb ribs and pig’s trotters. All were well cooked and bursting with flavour. After we finished, we thanked the people who had served us. These were the nicest and humblest people you can meet and made the experience one to remember. To finish off, we were offered shots at no charge. Not just one shot, but as many as you liked. Please visit this restaurant. The food is amazing, the prices are amazing and the people are amazing. You will love it."

"The most surprising meal in Barcelona, no disappointments at all, snails are the signature, beef is better than many high-end French restaurants, melon and ham are so refreshing, please make sure to order the grilled green onions, it is completely beyond your imagination! Only more than 20 euros per person, the boss also gave us a bottle of homemade wine! Soooo gooood!"

"This place was incredible, the food was awesome, I was a bit surprised by the staff at first and then when they started serving us I felt the care right away. To top it off at the end someone from the team I assume a manager or owner insisted we have some free herbal liqueur. Prices were also incredibly fair"

"It’s a small spot located in Urgell (it’s really close to the metro, 5 minuts walking from the Urgell metro). I was having visitors from France and they wanted to something local I decided to take them to Cargolet. They serve authentic Catalan dishes, their specialities are snails, You can order now Calçots as it’s Calçots season. We ordered snails, calçots, and mix of grilled meats, the portion is generously big and the dishes are really so delicious (my French friends really loved the snails) if you can’t finish the portion you can ask for doggy bag. When we finished the dinner the staff offered us the Hierba shot. The staff is so friendly and efficient, if you are in the city and wants something like local and different this is the place!"
